Day 1: Arusha

After a warm welcome at the airport, you will be taken to your overnight hotel in Arusha. Relax after your long flights and have a good night’s sleep. If time permits, you can tour the colourful town of Arusha to get a flavour of Tanzanian life and culture.

Arusha is the gateway to some of Africa’s most spectacular natural wonders and sits at the foot of Mount Meru, one of the highest mountains in Africa. The town is a welcoming cultural and natural gem, ideal for a stopover before or after your safari. Whether you want to explore the city’s food scene, coffee plantations, museum, or sample the local shops, we can arrange a guide to showcase the best of the town.

Day 2 - Day 3: Oliver's Camp(Tarangire National Park)

Day 2 - 3

After a leisurely breakfast, you will begin your journey with your guide to Tarangire National Park. You will drive southwest, through rural Tanzania, until you reach the park gate, where your game drive begins, exploring the riches of the park until you arrive at Oliver’s Camp. From here you can explore the colossal baobabs, grassy plains and vast herds of elephant among the unique landscapes of Tarangire National Park. There are also large herds of buffalo, and healthy populations of lion and leopard.

During the dry season, Tarangire has the highest concentration of mammals in the country, and more than 550 species of birds to spot throughout the year. Our knowledgeable safari guides will lead you on game drives and educational walking safaris to see the park at a slower pace. For a completely different perspective, an unforgettable early morning hot-air balloon safari over the plains gives you the chance to soar silently over the wildlife.

Day 4 - Day 5: The Highlands( The Ngorongoro Conservation Area)

After a delicious breakfast surrounded by the early morning sounds of the bush, you will game drive out of the park and onward to The Highlands Camp in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Here, you’ll find eight unique geodesic domed suites with breathtaking views of distant volcanic mountains. Each suite has an en suite bathroom with hot running water, double showers, and flushing toilets.  

Venture out on a game drive into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, in a comfortable seven-seater vehicle with pop-up rooftops, onboard power points, and fridges. You can also hike to Olmoti and Empakaai Craters or visit a nearby Maasai village where you can join herders as they return their cattle to their boma for the night. 

The camp offers a family dome, and a honeymoon suite with a hot tub. There is a spa and sauna where you can wind down after a day’s adventures, before pre-dinner drinks in the whisky bar beside the fire. The Highlands Camp is an award-winning destination that promises a memorable stay.

Day 6 - Day 9: Sayari Camp( Serengeti)

Day 6 - 8

Depart this morning for the airstrip, three hours’ drive away, before catching your light aircraft flight to the northern Serengeti. Here, meet your guide from the award-winning Sayari Camp which offers a unique opportunity to experience the Great Migration in certain months. The camp is in a prime location from where you can witness thousands of wildebeests leaping and splashing across the crocodile-infested Mara River, as well as explore further afield to seek out the abundant resident wildlife.  

Sayari Camp boasts 15 spacious and bright tented suites radiating romance, featuring mahogany floors and king or twin beds with fine linens and colourful cushions. The luxurious bathrooms offer walk-in showers, free-standing bathtubs overlooking the savannah plains, and an outdoor shower on your deck. You can relax on your wraparound veranda with a book while spotting passing wildlife. In addition, Sayari Camp has a rim-flow pool set between natural rock formations where you can cool off and watch elephant or zebra ambling by. The camp also features the Serengeti’s first solar-powered microbrewery, where you can enjoy a locally brewed beer.  

Indulge in a rejuvenating deep tissue massage followed by a sensational safari, viewing the big cats, zebra, gazelle and even the rare black rhino. The camp has two Retreats, offering an exclusive experience for families and groups.

Day 9

As you observe distant elephant, zebra, and wildebeest strolling past the camp, relish a final delicious breakfast before your guide takes you to the airstrip to catch your flight to Kilimanjaro. This airport will be your final stop in the local area before heading back home with unforgettable memories.
