After years of dreaming and 18 months of building, The Wild Hill opened its doors on August 1, 2024, as an architectural masterpiece set on the edge of the Enonkishu Conservancy on Kileleoni Hill in the Northern Mara Ecosystem. The lodge blends seamlessly into the landscape with living grass roofs and indigenous landscaping, fully powered by solar energy, with all water harvested on-site. Much of the construction utilized upcycled materials, including fence posts from the nearby Mbokishu Conservancy. Guests access the property through an ancient door that leads into a dramatic tunnel, offering expansive views of the area. 

With experienced managers, including property manager Dave Steyn, a skilled sommelier passionate about conservation, and wellness director Solveig Gevers, a holistic wellness advocate, their wellness offerings are personalized and unique. The Wild Wellness Spa, set in an enchanting forest glade, offers a sauna, cold plunge, treatment room, and wood-fired hot tub. The property features two bars, a fire pit, five luxurious bedroom suites, a high-ceilinged main area with a fully stocked wine cellar, and culinary offerings that include family-style meals, tapas, interactive cooking, and formal tasting menus.

There are multiple spaces to relax, including the living area, outdoor deck, pool lounge, and home cinema room, with activities like billiards, giant Jenga, cornhole, pickleball, and e-bikes. Game drives, walks with elders, and opportunities to visit ancient petroglyphs are available, and the lodge offers a peaceful retreat with breathtaking views.
