The only permanent safari camp in the 5,000 acre Olerai Conservancy, Lerai Safari Camp offers an exclusive safari within easy reach of Maasai Mara and the Serengeti
The Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya and the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania are only 15 miles away from one other. This region is teeming with African species, including antelope, wildebeest, zebra, and elephant migration routes.
Lerai Safari Camp was gradually constructed in 2018 to provide the wildlife room to coexist with humans. Elephants are being drawn to the camp by a riverine woodland stream, which is surrounded by a group of acacia trees (the word "Lerai" means yellow and "Olerai" refers to the acacia tree).
The interiors of the ten safari suites, which include canvas frames, capture the allure of the classic East African safari aesthetic. They have an authentic sensation of an African safari, and they are fashionable and really comfy without being pretentious.
