A light-footprint tented camp accommodating up to eight guests in four lovely en-suite tents deep in the Mara Triangle, moving amidst the Great Migration between July and September. This unique camp captures the romance and adventure of the glorious Golden Age of safaris, yet with a lightness of spirit that will both surprise and delight guests. 

Enjoy the comforts of 21st-century camping, but with the thrill of having nothing but canvas between you and the Mara’s year-round abundant wildlife right on your doorstep. Safari days will be packed with adventure followed by peaceful evenings under the stars as you share stories and meals around the campfire.

Maasai Mara

The Maasai Mara, an iconic safari destination in Kenya, is celebrated for its vast savannahs, diverse wildlife, and stunning landscapes. This renowned national reserve, part of the larger Mara-Serengeti ecosystem, is home to the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros—as well as cheetahs, zebras, wildebeests, and numerous bird species. Visitors flock here for thrilling game drives, witnessing the Great Migration typically from July to October, when millions of wildebeest and zebras traverse the Mara River. The Maasai Mara also offers cultural experiences with the Maasai people, known for their rich traditions and vibrant red attire, adding a unique cultural dimension to any safari adventure.
